Iena Cruz Artist selected for City Pubblic Art Project "Mons Art Habite La Ville" Obourg, Belgium 2022
Nebulosa” Is a work inspired by the natural reserve in Obourg, Belgium. Fox and cormorant are two of the animals who live around the lake of the reserve, once used as a construction site to make cement.
🌟A Nebula is often created from the explosion of a decadent Star. The formations of gas, dust, and other materials "clump" together and eventually will become dense enough to form a new star.
✨”Nebulosa”Is a magical story of the beautiful and regenerative power of Mother Nature.
Nature and city come together in a single element, it is not clear which one dominates the other. The elephant comes out from his natural habitat and walking through the big cities around the world, bringing with them a common symbol of the urbanization: the traffic lights. Traffic lights that grow like flowers in a field on his body, spraying color on the city too gray and without nature. Urbanization and nature as man and animal become bearers of a message of coexistence and cooperation where both sides respect each other and respect the world they live.
